The girlfriend bought me a new gun for my birthday/christmas etc. Totally was not expecting it. Benelli Lupo & Riton Scope. New scope company to me, I've gotta learn all this stuff.

River & Ranch in Georgetown, (on the square) is making some changes and the owners are getting out of the gun business. They have some good deals on what they have left.

I walked in and asked if they had a .308 with a threaded barrel. Dude hands me this one and said that it was 25% off, and the scope was also discounted quite a bit. GF takes out her card and said, "we'll take it".

I think I out kicked my coverage here boys, I may not be able to get out of this one...

I was gonna run up to R&R Friday and ran out of time. I was looking for a threaded 308 also. Glad another Ag landed it.

In the strictest of interpretations, I believe txaggie02 is correct. OP mentioned the GF without a pic, which violates the true rule #1 from back in the day (any girl mentioned must have a pic).

However, I personally VASTLY prefer our modern acceptance of showing the gun/truck/bourbon/whatever else is mentioned. It makes the forum much less creepy and gawky. Ha Ha!

Don't be South Caroline and mess this up OP. Seal the deal before some other OB member tracks her down (they know things).

I had a riton scope. Very good scope for the money. Veteran owned out of AZ.
