Anyone recommend a business that has quality wood cutting boards? We have a 12"x17" and would like a bigger one.

Boardsmith. They're not cheap, but their Carolina Cut boards have fewer joints which will last a long time. They can also make a custom size if you want one. Based out of Frisco, Tx. https://theboardsmith.com/

I've had agrams make four boards for me over the last several years. He's more than double the cost of those but def worth it imo.

Wasn't there a poster the past couple of years that had a son that made some right before Christmas? They looked great in the pictures, maybe he will be back soon.

Bought one from Agrams In October as wedding gift for my son and his wife who are both Ags. I believe it was end grain walnut, maple and mesquite and got the pleasure to meet him in person. I've admired his work for a few years. It's the nicest cutting board I've seen and I thought it was reasonably priced for something they may pass down to the future grandkids if it's used properly. The Boardsmith is 2X the price for a comparable board once you check all the boxes.

If I wasn't having to pay for a new AC, a wedding and an ex wife I would have bought the other one that matched.

Another agrams rec here! you could use Saddleback's motto for his cutting boards…..your kids will fight over it when you're dead.

Indestructible, high quality, heavy and won't slide around on the counter. Not a board that is easy to move and store in a cabinet above the oven due to size and weight, but as nice as it is you'll want it out on display when not in use anyway. Agrams is a great guy, class act, red ass Aggie.

Another rec for Agrams board. I've bought several over years for gifts. Everyone of them quality and will last longer than the recipient.

My empleada's uncle down here in Bolivia makes custom furniture. This thread inspires me to get him to cut some strips of his better quality wood so I can make a cutting board.

I could see someone making a cutting board similar to the mosaic pattern Boardsmith style, but in a Minecraft theme. People would buy them with mosaic of their kids' character on the game, or of something the kids created in the game. What they'd be willing to pay for that is another question.

I have probably bought over 50 from agrams. Every single person loves them. We have 4 or 5 that we use (different sizes), and we also use them as charcuterie boards at gatherings,

Int he past, he had some on his etsy page.

Maybe agrams will see this post.
We need a noodle board to cover the top of our gas stove - 29 1/2" wide x 20 1/2" long. Looked at Amazon - most are acacia or bamboo. Don't know much about types of appropriate wood and would rather give our money to agrams. Doesn't need to be fancy - just trying to keep the stove top dust/debris free when we aren't using it. I don't see us using it as a charcuterie (sp) board but would like handles.

I picked up a Teakhaus cutting board at Costco a few years back for like $50. Big, heavy, but not end grain. For the price, I'd recommend it.

Agrams has some awesome products. Here's another option. George has some outstanding stuff, and lots of pix on his Facebook page. Check out some of the furniture on there.

been swamped with life lately and didn't see this thread till someone emailed me.

I've got a pile of probably 30-40 done and available. i do ship, and it usually runs about 20$/board to ship in Texas.

Agrams, sent you a DM about your cutting boards. I'm interested in ordering one of your boards and want to get some details about your current inventory.

There was and I bought one from him. Nice family and a well-made board I use all the time. I do not remember his name though and do not have the contact information.
