Got an early start this afternoon on a hunt so I'm retroactively doing a going live thread, which isn't really right - especially since I shot something - but sue me. I'll be hunting the rest of the weekend too.

Location: Uvalde County
Temp: Colder than a witches tit (actually only like 50 but N Wind + Humidity made it my coldest hunt of the year)

Hunt started off with a few deer coming in before the feeder went off. The deer got nervous and off to the left, a herd of aoudad (14 ewes/kids and 2 rams) showed up. I normally shoot these the moment I see them but decided to watch for a while. After another 3 ewes showed up, I decided to lack the smack down.

I got 2 ewes and was able to film both shots. Let me see if I can find a way to upload the film.

Back out sitting at different blind. We have a jumping or climbing pit here that needs some leadicillin. Also have a decent mainframe 10 I'd like to see live and film.

He's been very clearly put on the do not shoot list but you never know. He lives on the interior part of the ranch so hoping he doesn't sneak off and get to the neighbors. He's got a long way to go for that to happen though…

Thank you sir! First time I have been able to watch them while in a blind. They're really smart and super skittish. I know neighbors to the south probably shoot them but us and neighbors to north and west don't, for now..:

The big pig showed up at 6:05 but by the time I got the window open and grabbed my gun he started to trot off. I barely made a peep but he must've known something was off. I hate how smart they can be!!

Back in the stand. 39 degrees and slight North wind. Bumped 3 hogs throwing out corn again. Probably just whitetail coming out here but you never know. Good luck everyone else!

Conditions are perfect less the damn moon. I was casting a shadow on my way in this morning and my cell camera is down so I'm not sure how much movement was last night. Since I haven't seen anything yet, I'm going to assume it was like Lionel Richie up in here last night.
