Anyone seen signs of rut around south Texas? We are in Cotulla and have not seen anything to indicate rut near us.

We're in Zavala County nearby, amdrut kicking off mid Dec is pretty standard.

So slow until kow seems normal.

Eastern Frio county here and the rut is about 1-2 weeks early so it's just getting started. Usually full on about Xmas.

I had a spike trying to chase does this morning near Falfurrias. It was about like watching a freshman chase the Prom Queen.
So, they are "starting to" around here. Hard to tell if its in full swing just yet.
