Found out my hore of a dog's knocked up about a week and a half before she was scheduled to be spayed. As such, I have 5 mutts ready for new homes right at Christmas (will be 8 weeks old). Mom is a heeler. No idea who dad is- he isnt around... all look about like this one. All are transitioning to kibble, and mom is in the process of weaning them.

We thought they looked labish too, but no black lab nearby for an entire litter to be black. A neighbor a bit down the road has a smaller black dog but no idea if he is neutered or what his breed is. Just know my girl is a heeler.

I wouldn't give them away for free. Unless you actually know the person that it is going to. At least don't advertise them as free.

Charge $150-$200. Anyone worth being the owner will pay it and it keeps the *******s who would use the dogs as fighting bait away. I've seen it happen.

I get where you are coming from, but I just cant, in good conscious, ask 150-200 for a mutt. I get not free. And we will do everything in our power to make sure they arent going to crappy people

That last part it the important part. I've been there before trying to home an abandoned puppy and didn't realize what the buyer was into until it was too late. Still feel bad about it 20 years later.

Of course now you can FaceTime and internet check and all of that. Couldn't then.

Cute dogs. Sounds like momma dog is doing a good job.

Yeah. We adopted a great Dane when we were living in Montana. The breeders didnt do their due diligence on the original owner and she was in bad shape when we got her.

Our dog actually isnt a good mom lol. She's young and pretty ****ty at it. We had to bottle feed a few for a few days at first because she just didnt want to be around them. Eventually she got better, but still not a great mom by any means.
