Good mornin, I figured instead of sitting around waiting for the game, I might as well sit and wait on some deer.

Perfect morning here in Gonzales County, 57 and no wind, should be a beautiful day.

I was also thinking, what is yalls must haves or traditional things to bring to the blind with you? Besides the typical gear, what's your go to snack or boredom busters?

In the mornings it's gatorade and mini donuts. The evening hunt will not be without sweet tea, jerky, and an oatmeal creme pie. I don't eat them everytime, but they go with me everytime.

South Duval county and its foggy. I have three bucks out milling around that all have a pass since the game is at 11am and I dont want to mess all that. I may regret this but it sure is nice out.

Good luck!

Duval Co., warm and foggy. Conditions were prime yesterday morning: 45, clear, no wind. Little guys were chasing does. Hoping for muy grande to show up this morning.

Sometimes a bottle of water in the mornings. That and maybe a beer or two on occasion in the backpack for the evening hunt.

For those early November hunts, cold Lone Star does hit just right in the afternoons.

Have a legal 8 that just chased a doe to the feeder. He's lucky it's game day and could use another year

ETA: I have a ground hog that popped up about 10' from me and it's taking everything in my power not to pink mist it. Also, two young bucks are battling about 40 yards from me and a cardinal just landed on my window. I'm living a gosh darn Disney movie over here

Besides some water and a breakfast bar I like to read from this little book. I am a believer that you are a lot closer to God when out enjoying his creation.
I keep it in my backpack.

I love nice weather afternoon hunts. I'll ditch the stand and feeder for a nice spot on a hill for some old fashioned spot and shoot. You can find either an oatmeal crme pie or munchies peanut butter crackers in my bag.
