Double post

This guy is my backup plan. We have two more 8s running around, one wide and low and a younger that is taller but narrow, that I would like to give one more year to see what they look like. This 6 is in good shape but his antlers are pretty narrow and spindly so I figure he would make a good cull if I don't see an axis or something better.

Needs another year

Really needs 2-3 to be honest, but he is my last resort if I don't see one better. With no season on axis, I may let him pass this year and do some more axis hunting in january. But my freezer is getting a lot of space in and I dont want to get skunked entirely.

I am 100% before the end of the year going to shoot a juvenile buck and post it here. Ask for age and score while it lays in the dirt.

Good luck to you too. Best 8 on the property was moving around just after midnight. Nothing else moving so far except the big barn cat that crawled out of a hole in a tree.

Just had 6 pigs come in through brush and only 1 made it out for a shot but he winded me before I got gun out. Normally have windows closed but it's so foggy I had to open one and wind is blowing towards feeder… womp womp

The 6 was hanging around. But a doe came in from downwind and started snorting. He took off to go see her instead.
