I'm having too many flats on my UTVs (Mule and Ranger) driving over areas that have been shredded. Flatout and similar products definitely help but looking for a better solution. I've heard of people having their tires filled with "foam" (professionally not DIY) to avoid flats altogether. Do any of you have experience with this option? If so, I would love to hear your advice etc. thanks

I honestly think it would be a very rough ride. I have my tires slimed and I bought some heavier ply tires to put on my UTV and I don't have many problems. I also have a couple of spare rims/tires just in case that I keep in my barn.

I did foam to front tractor tires and hated how rough it was. So here's what you do:
Pro armor 8 ply Kevlar tires and the correct amount of MultiSeal for each tire. I did that to my Polaris about 10 years ago in Encinal and not had a flat yet. Pics of brand names for reference.

I had my tires foamed for my skid steer and front end loader that were constantly getting holes from broken saplings after shredding fields and honey locust thorns.
I used every tire flat product made and still had issues so spent the money on having them foamed. It has been great. No more flats period. But it does make them ride a little worse but not much.
My neighbor did his 6 place Can Am and I really could not tell to much in ride change but his Can Am Lone Star has really good suspension. I have the same unit and contemplating doing the same.

Just FYI we are in logging country and the forestry guys here told me about a new "Gel Foam" process they do to all their trucks and equipment that supposedly has all the upsides of foam but gives a more cushion ride. It's expensive but they rave about it. I have not done any research on it yet.

Sedona Rip Saw tires...

They along with traditional slime will repel the worst that West & South Texas brush and mesquite can throw at you.
