I married the love of my life, Melissa, at the Methodist Church in downtown Bryan. When we were married, we never could have imagined the life ahead of us. Lots of joy and laughter as well as lots of sadness and tears with the loss of our son Holden. Still, I can't imagine my life without her. It's been quite a ride and there's still some more ahead despite the fact we're on the short rows of our lives.

Congrats on your Anniversary. Sounds like you found you a good one back then. Life throws a lot of things at you. My dad told me something on our wedding night that I never forgot…..he said son you gotta work at keeping your marriage together….it ain't easy but if you do it right you will have a life long best friend that you will cherish forever.
It was sound wisdom for us. We celebrate our 50th this coming April. I've been truly blessed that she put up with me this long!
