That article is full of some crap.

Snow leopards do not typically have aggressive tendencies. They are highly reclusive, and don't like to be seen. They are ambush predators.

Hell, even the ones at the zoo rarely came out out of their enclosures unless they were closed off from their barn. Then, they'd still hide behind anything they could.

1. The cat was hungry. Big cats will go to extreme lengths when they are hungry.
2. The lady was a dumbass. You don't try to take a picture with a wild animal. When I deal with venomous snakes, I use tools and take pictures of them at an appropriate distance.
