Recently started getting a message that "this site is not secure" with an open padlock icon whenever I try to visit any website with a hint of firearm info attached. Anyone else experiencing this?

I can use a search engine that provides links to sites like Brownells, Midway, and even Cabelas, but these sites are effectively blocked when I click the links. My wife is the admin for our home internet and has tried to adjust security settings to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

Edit to add: this only happens when I use my home internet, not at the office or elsewhere. Also happens with my phone if on wifi, but not when using cellular, so feel pretty certain that this is ISP specific.

Sounds like someone has set some parental type locks on your router.

Using any kind of vpn for home network?

Some gun sites get weirded out if you try to visit from somewhere shady like Canukistan

That's what I thought too, but she can't find anything when going through parental options.

No VPN on home network. I would think cabelas website would not freak out?

Apparently an issue with the plume router. Have approve each site individually

Sounds like Plume hates the 2A...
