Alright OB, because y'all know stuff:

My son has a friend (turning 9) who is obsessed with outdoors. Mainly animal bones, bird feeders, bigfoot, and the Texas animal pamphlets you can pick up at the grocery store line.

Looking at getting him some owl pellets to dissect because who wouldn't love digging through puke and collecting bones at that age.

Anyway, I figured this might be an entertaining thread of ideas on what to get this kid. And if you're in the DFW area and have any old pamphlets (or bones) laying around, hit me up and I could probably pick them

I have a remote hay barn with owl residents. Just dm an address if you'd like a zip lock bag of pellets.

Zoos and nature centers do birthday parties with animal encounters.

I used to work at the FW Nature center, but that's been over a decade. Not sure what they do. They do have education animals. As does FW Zoo.

My son's friends dad came up with some great boy bd parties in San Antonio though. One year he rented a BMX track on a weekday for next to nothing. Another year he rented Robber Baron cave, got a geology professor/spelunker to guide and we all went in for about 3-4 hours. Really neat,

If you haven't checked out the Trinity River Audobon Center, they have some great stuff. Years ago my daughter attended an overnight summer camp - it was called Lone Star Adventure Nature Camp at the time. Dissecting owl puke was a highlight.

But they offer educational opportunities and resources year round.

If you need a pile of owl pellets near downtown Dallas I can point you to a spot.

I think that's the appropriate age for tannerite.

Gotta be ten to add a half coke can of gasoline on top.

Zoo books (I think that's the name). They don't make them anymore, but I think you can find them on EBay. I LOVED reading those as a kid.
