Anyone else see the bright meteor this morning to the southeast around dawn?

I saw one last night at around 2:30am. South/SE it was. Maybe a shower event right now? The one I saw was very bright.

The Alpha Centaurids meteor shower is currently active (roughly late January through about Feb 20), but it's a weak shower typically only a few meteors per hour and it's best seen from much southern latitudes (Southern Hemisphere), with only occasional glimpses toward very low southern horizons from Texas.

Dawn? 2:30am?

F- no. I can say with certainty there was no chance I saw either.

But I do miss seeing them as kid. I used to lay out in the front pasture all night long u til I fell asleep watching them. Good times.

Favorite trip as a kid was spent laying on the roof of a houseboat on Lake Shasta at night and watching shooting stars. Good times.

Same trip I watched some crazy dude ram his pickle fork directly into the side of a rocky cliff. Somehow miraculously didn't sink it, but bloodied him and his passenger up pretty good.

Almost every trip to the ranch when things die and down and we're out on the front porch, shooting stars are visible. Wild how many are out there.

Thanks atmosphere from savings us from the cosmic death rocks.
