2021 F-150 3.5L Ecoboost, 54K miles. Dealership is recommending a "Fuel Induction Service" for roughly $200.
They are also recommending a tune up, which consists of replacing the plugs for $290.

I asked them if this is FORD recommended maintenance and they said yes. But technically the scheduled interval for changing the plugs appears to be at 60,000 miles. I'll have the plugs changed at my next oil change which will be closer to the 60K mile marker.

Did a quick internet search and I get mixed views on the induction service. Some say to do it, others say no that it will / could potentially mess the turbos up.

What does the OB say regarding this Fuel Induction Service?

I'm at 60k on my 22 and about to do Transmission fluid, possibly plugs but may wait until 70k, and filters. I don't think there is anything else listed on my 60k mile service that is actually needed.

dunno, I don't do facebook....

I did plugs and transmission fluid drain and fill (not flush due to flushing pressure supposedly detrimentally effect the drum) at 80k fwiw on a 2018f150

I had never heard of FIS but Google says it's recommended every 30 to 60,000 miles.

What does your owner's manual say? Check out "Ford Insider Secrets" on YouTube. The guy provides what appears to be good info.

I wouldn't push the spark plug change too far past 60,000. I pulled my small RV out to Big Bend at about 58,000 and on the return trip I couldn't go over about 50 mph. 2021 F150 with 2.7L EcoBoost.

Asking a dealer to do your vehicle maintenance is like asking the district attorney to represent you in a murder trial. Avoid them like the plague.
