Our dog accidentally ate a poppy seed bun and his face is swelling up. We are looking for an emergency vet, but is there something we can give him in the meantime?

He also went to the vet today and got his bordatella vaccine and DHPP. Got a prescription for Apoquel and Cefpodoxime as well, but we have not been given those yet.

Benadryl 1 mg per pound as long as he is not having problems breathing

I altered the original post, but curious if it could be the shots? He weighs 45 pounds.
