I am wanting to replace the bed on my 21 Ram 3500 SRW Mega cab.

Any brands to avoid? Custom shops you like?

I put a Neckover on my F250 and love it. I get many compliments on it, except my wife.

I'd stay away from CM because of their prep before powder coat. I have 3 of them, 2 TMs and 1 SK, all of them started rusting under the powder coat day one. The SK is on my project/Saturday truck and I am pretty vigilant about policing the bubbles, chipping, and touching them up... but I'm soon going to have it sandblasted and just paint the whole thing.

My neighbor just bought a Pronghorn UDT bed and had it color matched - it looks very nice. He tried to get it done at WhiteFace Ford in Hereford but they said he was looking at September - and that was in February. He ended up buying it at Star Truck Equipment in Wharton and loves it so far.

When you are evaluating potential beds - don't discount their reputation for how the finish holds up.

I can second the CM finish problems. I need to get mine sandblasted and completely repainted. I just need enough time. It needing it to get it done.
