Looking for a pair of range finding binos. I would use them for hunting as well as precision rifle shooting, not currently doing this but intend to in the near future.

I'm a believer in good glass on my scopes and pretty much use Leupold VX6 exclusively. I don't use my binos very much when hunting even though I should.

I'd like to stick to ~1K budget if possible. I found the Vortex fury hd 5000 10x42 which fit this price range but don't want to make a mistake. The Midway flyer I just got had Halo Optics K2000 Rangefinding Binos for 299$ but I'm guessing these are on the low end of quality. The Leupold binos seems to be in the %1,500+ price range. If I had to I would step up to this.

Any recommendations for my uses? TIA....
