What was the name of the small restaurant chain that was in Huntsville, Lufkin, and other locations that was named Texas..... I believe was owned by the Lampo Family of Bryan.

There were also stores in Brenham and Conroe.

The one in Brenham had onion rings with a chili dipping sauce that was off of the menu.

You had to know someone that worked there to get it.

I remember their catchy jingle from my days as an on air personality….

Tejas Cafe, where all of your friends are…

What do you say, Tejas Cafe…

(Or something along those lines)

Heard that way too many times at 1 am and full of caffeine.

That chain had locations as far out to Arizona but they're down to one in Austin.

As soon as I saw the name, that's what popped in there.
