Howdy,
I am an Aggie dad and local teacher at CSMS. I am participating in the "50 Men Who Can Cook" fundraiser for the College Station ISD Education Foundation for the second straight year. My team won 3rd place last year and are looking to best that this year. This is the primary fundraiser for the foundation. They raise over $250,000 for the school district. Most of that money goes directly to teachers in the form of grants for their classrooms, student scholarships, food pantries on campuses, etc. We are asked to sell at least ten tickets to the event. This year's event will be on February 7 at the Brazos County Expo Center from 6:30-9:30. Tickets are $100 each and include admission to the event, as much food and drinks (beer/wine, and margaritas) as you can consume, and the opportunity to fellowship with other community supporters. There is a DJ and a silent raffle. Many local celebrities have been known to attend as well (coaches, TV personalities, former players, etc.) This is a very classy event and would make for a great date night. If you order some tickets, please let them know that you bought from me. By the way, the food is REALLY good! The event site is linked below:
