I think they used to be Aggieland Doors (dont quote me) but this is their local number and they came out same day or next day.

We used Precision Door for a replacement back in October and I highly recommend them.

I second Secure Overhead Door! Derick is a great guy (and neighbor).

We are expecting kiddo #2 here in a couple of weeks. His room is gonna be right above the garage, which has a rather loud rumble when the garage opens/closes.

Does the group think calling one of these companies will help us get the door to be more quiet/less annoying to open? Last thing I need right now is pissing off the wife cause I had to open the garage door….

Is it a chain or belt driven opener ?


Chain is way louder

If the door is really dry then lubricating the chain, rollers and tracks will help some with noise.

It is belt driven.

I've tried spraying the rollers to help some, but may need to look into the tracks themselves with possibly the belt?
