Looking for recommendations in BCS for electrician to add a 240v breaker and plug in my garage. There is an opening in the panel, so just need the breaker installed and a short run to a plug on same wall as the panel. Also, any ballpark range I should be expecting on pricing would be helpful.

Take a pic of electrical panel open
Give exact distance to plug and add 5 feet and tell them your adding 5 feet

Should be pretty easy to give a price

I cannot recommend Casiano, for reasons I will not go into, but K&C Electric fixed the issue quickly and at reasonable cost.

We recently used University Electric and REALLY liked them. Prompt, communicative, reasonably priced, and worked quickly to find and remedy our issue. Small local business. Our issue was an outlet & exterior light that suddenly stopped working. My husband is usually pretty good with Electric, but he couldn't figure it out. Even opened up a wall looking for a damaged wire.
