Has anyone had their garage door springs replaced recently? If so, who did you use? About how much was it? Were you satisfied with their work?

I have replaced them before and I know it is really dangerous because of the high tension that is needed. But thinking of maybe having someone do it this time

I have heard a lot of good things about Aggieland Garage Door.

Nevermind. Looking at doing it myself again. Springs are about $100 or so, and I called Aggieland and they are charging $540. I still have my set of winding bars form the first time.

It's not rocket surgery, but I do have the number of a guy that would probably do it on the side. He works for a garage door company buy does stuff under the table too.
