Specs: 20 x 40. 3yrs old. Originally treated lumber. Sits under a large oak tree.1 It's been chemically cleaned and power washed. Any recommendations or do's and don'ts on stain versus paint? TIA.

I'd stain

when it's ready to replace I would go with composite next time

Stain it with real solvent based stain
