Howdy. My father and I are both students at Texas A&M and he was recently re-diagnosed with Multiple-Myeloma. I would appreciate some direction towards resources that could help my family through this as well as any resources or advice that would help him stay in school (or avoid withdrawing) while he undergoes treatment. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry to hear that…prayers for his health. I'd reach out to Student Assistance Services in Student Life and see what help they can help yall connect with across the university.

If possible, get referred to the multiple myeloma team at M.D. Anderson. You might already know this, but the teams at Anderson each specialize in a particular family of cancer. It's a more focused approach than you get with an oncologist that treats them all.

Also, Anderson has social workers that might be able to guide you on a situation like this.
