Anchor Bar had some good wings. Really pricey though.
Anchor Bar is my new go-to. They have $1 wings on Thursday if I'm not mistaken. Rewards program is pretty good too.
Wings are a personal taste. Lots of good wing places in town that make them different ways. You just have to go on a mission and start trying them till you find your favorite. I think Wing Stop has pretty good wings
On your quest, be sure to try Angry Elephant. Double fried.

Pluckers is my favorite. They are large so I generally only want 5-7 vs 10ish at W&M.
Twin Peaks has really good wings and good cold draft beers.
Angry Elephant is good as well but you can only order in sets of 10 and they don't come with sides.
Anchor Bar is good as well but I prefer their buffalo pizza which is amazing.

It had been 10 years at least since I had eaten wings until we went to Anchor Bar during this spring break. Those were the best I had eaten. Crunchy and tasty with a good bit of meat.

Yeah I saw my error but decided not to bother fixing. Just means I have not been to AE enough as of late I guess.
Carneys will double fry there's upon request. 10 wings and fries for $15.

Good list here. Wingstop louisiana rub is always a go-to, but lately i'm hitting these places up.

Ah The Station. Rich is the nicest guy and runs a good business. The food is a practice of mediocrity unfortunately. I so wanted it to be better.
Guy who plugs Twin Peaks opining on mediocrity. BCS comedy gold.
Maybe I went to Anchor Bar on a bad day. I thought they were fine but nothing special.

I still like Wings n More. They are a bit smaller but also less expensive. Good consistent quality.
So I guess if one didn't make it I wouldn't miss Anchor Bar

Pluckers is good. I'd put them a notch above Anchor.
Carneys remains my personal go to for wings but wings in BCS is a silly hill to die on. Some are really good. Most are pretty good. None are bad.

You should try the smoked and grilled wings at TP. They're very good. Although I don't hold TP in high culinary esteem, those are really good. I just don't hold The Station in high culinary esteem either.
