I've got a 1979 CJ7 that's been sitting in the yard for about five years. I don't need it roadworthy, just running well enough to get around the property. It'll probably need new seats/brackets and maybe a roll bar too.

Anyone have a recommendation for someone local who could either come out to the property or take it to their shop and get it going again?

Just picked up my cj7 from Pat over at Sevcik's service center. Hes the only person I'll let touch it.

What engine is in it? I may be able to take a look.

No personal experience, but two close friends have had extensive work done on their CJ-5 and CJ-7 at the Bug Clinic in Bryan. Both highly recommend him.
