We enjoy Sushi Masa when we want a variety of food.
Had Kamei today. Their lunch roll specials are hard to beat!
It used to be Blue Fin until they changed ownership.

Just finished dinner at 40 Tempura, always solid.
I like Oishi, but I think their quality has gone down some from when they first opened.
I've also been told Shogun has good sushi, but I've only had hibachi there and it's delicious!
We like Oishi and Shogun. But we have yet to try Sushi Masa or Kanji Sushi.
Oishi serves traditional Japanese and Chinese dishes
H-E-B. California and San Antonio rolls.
40 Tempura is better than solid.
If you're looking for good Korean food, check out Ohana Korean Grill. It's amazing. I love the banchan while waiting for the entrees.

Ask Chef Tai if he has anything weird. Sadly not as common as at Veritas, but he will sometimes bring out something weird.

I get to be a bachelor this weekend and want to go to something that would normally freak out my family...

Kamei is close to the house and good for lunch.
We take the kids to Sushi Masa because my kids can put away some sushi and their kids all you can eat price is great, especially after they eat 40 pieces of sashimi.

If you fancy hibachi then Shogun down at Tower Point is great. I think their sushi is great too but I'm hardly a connoisseur of sushi.

this is my favorite above Ohana and Choi's. I'm no connoisseur of Korean food but it's pretty good and the best we got.

Like most things these days it's cheaper to do it at home. And it's better when you learn what you're doing.
