Anyone know a BCS shop that will fix a flat tire on Sundays? TIA

Costco tire bays are always empty for a reason. Everything is a "3 hour wait," even if you are a member. Complete joke, so don't go there. Seems like a regional manager would ask, why do you only have X of cars per day.

Discount is closed.

Maybe squeeze a can of fix o flat in there until tomorrow.

I would change it and take it to a shop tomorrow.

Also, depends on what the issue is. If it just a nail or screw in the tread, you can fix it with a tire repair kit that you can get at walmart or OReily's or tractor supply. I have done that a number of times.

Maybe. I brought them a tire that had a nail in it a few months ago. Outside looking at it the kid said this tire is kind of older so we may not be able to fix it. I'll have to ask my manager because we won't touch a tire that's 6 years old or older. We go inside and he gets his manager and she tells me sorry, we can't touch a tire older than 5 years. I told them I bought the tires from them and asked if they could see how long ago that was. They looked it up and said, "it looks like you bought them from us 4 years ago, so yeah, sorry we can't touch it."

I brought it to Dixie and was back on the road in 15 minutes.

If you use Fix a Flat be sure to tell the tire repair folks you used it.

Over the years i have used mine probably 5 or 6 times and never had to take it to a tire store.

When I worked in chemical plants and on construction sites we ended up getting plugs pretty often.

Head to north Bryan. You can have your pick of tire shops that are open on Sunday. There's 2 on 21 and at least 1 on Texas. All are good fast and cheap. Knowing Spanish is a plus but not required.

BJ tire shop has fixed a few flats for me. Usually very quick.
They're North Bryan on 21, South side of the road.

Update: went to College Station Firestone on Texas. Relatively quick. I watched maybe three innings of Aggie baseball on my phone while I waited.

For future reference, the week of manufacture is molded onto the side of a tire. There will be a four digit code. The first two digits will be the week of the year (01-52) and the last two will be the year. For instance 0621 would be the sixth week of 2021.

It sounds like they just didn't want to do anything.

Correct, and I'm aware of that. And in their defense, the guy that helped initially explained that to me outside. I only asked for the date I purchased when they went from 6 to 5 years, then they decided to double down and drop the rule by another year.

It's a shame because I've bought the same set of Coopers from them for my last two sets of tires. They've ran a special for buy 3 get 1 for free so I end up getting nice all-terrains for about $800 out the door. I think it was new management and they just didn't seem like they had their stuff together. She seemed scared to tell me they wouldn't work on it.

My experience with Discount and NTB is they want to sell a tire not fix a tire. I get it. They are in the business of selling tires.
