How long do you want to ignore this user?
I had no idea they were still open. Not picking on them, literally did not know they were open.
Its been years since I have eaten there.

Just make sure you have double the amount of time you think it will take to eat there.
I haven't been in ages either. Last time I visited was probably my last time ever. Never had a visit when the service wasn't predictably ornery and slow.

Haven't been in a while but the key was to always call about 45 minutes ahead.
Maybe it's just you. She's always nice to me.
Great memories at that place. I have got to go back and see if it is as good as it was in the early 70's

Serious congrats to them for keeping a family-owned business open for this long, especially since it isn't a destination restaurant.

We used to go there a lot 20-plus years ago when the chopped beef sandwiches were 89 cents.
Yep. We used to stop before the games and get two and still took 20-30 minutes
So we said hey lets call it in and hour before we left the house and still waited 20 minutes
But it was the best bbq sanwhich

My experience as well. No reason to have to wait so long for food that's already cooked and deal with that attitude
100 years? Time to wipe down the countertop!
