Whats the most expensive (not incliding drinks) restaurant in the bcs area?

Going to depend on what is ordered, but I would say The Republic, Christopher's, De Baca, or Casa Mangiare. Can easily spend $100 per person at any of these.

That's pretty much it, with the closing of Ronin. I'd maybe add Kanji to the list but in full transparency it's more a reflection of what I usually drop when I go there.

I think Porter's would qualify for sure.

Casa do Brasil can easily be $100/person with the Full Experience, drinks, and dessert.

Good list. I'd add 1860 in there too.

All are on par with that. Campfire has not been mentioned. I recently took the family there and it was $930 (with tip). $200 of it was wine but I can say with certainty that although the food and flavors were good, the value/portions were insubstantial. No rush going back.

It isn't as pricey as some of these. But I think the Napa Flats Bistro by Tower Point does a good job scratching the fancy dinner itch.

At this time, nothing approaches the prices at de Baca. I don't understand how they will survive at their price points.

De Baca. I had the Beef Wellington and it was worth every penny.

Yep. Kinda expensive for this town. I don't think we get enough out of town expense accounters to keep it going. Good luck to them though.

Agree. Food was great. Service was great. Bar was great. $500 for 2 ppl (we had a bottle of wine and pre-dinner drinks at the bar) makes this place a VERY special occasion restaurant for us.
