Tilted Pint, Either Angry Elephant, Rough Draught are all solid options.

Primrose Path? Never been there though. Looks like an olds place.

I would classify it as more restaurant than bar.

We live near the Bryan Angry Elephant and will take our golf cart up there in the evening occasionally and it's good mix of younger/older.

Across from Rough Draft is Dudley's which has a higher % of older folks.

The Owl in Downtown Bryan looks super promising but I haven't had a chance to visit. Downtown Bryan has a bunch of pleasant joints. I don't know what OP's style is, but there would surely be something to fit them there.

I went to the Cove last week. I got there at 2 and stayed to close (8pm). They had a live local band playing we wanted to see. I was hesitant to go, it's 18 and up, no kids and my wife and I are in our mid 50s.

Let me tell you, we had such a relaxing, amazing time floating the lazy river all day. I kept asking her, " Why have we not done this sooner? This is my new weekend go to!"

The swim up bar lets you grab a quick frozen cocktail or cold beer and you're back in the current for the ride. There were LOTS of people our age there as well as college kids. They were a blast to talk to while you float along. Highly recommend!

I thought the Cove went 100% private

Tapas bar. American tapas so like triple sized Spanish ones. 3 of them later and it's dinner and a drink.

"Here is our menu. Everything is an appetizer. Order until you are full."

So far it's working. It's a hard seat to get.

I went to Carney's a couple of times this past spring. It was an older crowd and has a great patio for when the weather gets nice.

It's working because Wade is good at what he does.

Also, The Republic bar gets an old(er) crowd (though I don't care for the vibe as much since they moved).

Well, you get a membership, like a season pass at six flags. Allows you to bring guests even.

Big fan of The Cove, despite its flaws. Joined right around when COVID began as it was an outdoor thing. The food is fine, and I think the pizzas they do are savagely underrated.

In terms of booze, they have a decent beer selection, frozen slushie things, and canned cocktails (mostly low strength). One major change is they eliminated the range of actual cocktails they used to make; you can longer get a Bloody Mary, G&T, whiskey and coke etc. They had some fun kitschy tropical drinks (blue of course) but there is enough to keep you happy on a hot day.
