Anyone had it installed locally? Who did you use?


Have a couple of small areas in our back yard that we would like to have artificial turf installed.

Everyone that i got an estimate from locally was 3 times the price of SynLawn in Tomball. Same turf, same 4-6 inches of crushed granite. Sorry local companies. Synlawn only does synthetic turf. My yard still looks fantastic.

Artificial Grass Direct

Installed our backyard 2 years ago, still looks new. $10 sq/ft installed. Gonna be hard to beat, then and whatever inflation is now. Came back and installed a 3-hole putting green for FREE 2 months later....it pays not to be an ass during negotiations, install and follow-up.

That is why I have it. Perfect! It does get hot, but I turn sprinklers on a couple times for a couple minutes in the pm to cool it off. However, my dog goes and lays on it even if it is hot.

I have one that is specifically for dogs with the upgraded infill for smell. I've not noticed a smell and poop is a breeze to pick up.

And yard is always green!

We did the same thing for our dogs. Our side yard always tended to be a muddy pit. We had artificial pet turf installed a few years ago and now we wonder why we didn't do it sooner.

We used Aggieland Artificial Turf and we have been very satisfied. We worked with Austin.

How long does artificial turf actually last? I know dogs, weather, etc can have an impact but I've looked at possibly putting a turf putting green in an area as also a selling point when I sell but don't want it to look rough in 5-10 years if I sold.
