I would guess that intersection is in top 5 if not the top one. It's got holleman at an angle to Texas so those turning right onto Texas on a red rom Holleman have a tough time looking back left down the hill and also need to watch for cars turning left from other side of Texas.
Then because of medians you have people wanting to Uturn on Texas in both directions.
Then of course people are in a hurry and hate to wait so they will run a red light if it just changed.
It's a horrible intersection.
small fixes might be: no uturns. No turn right on red from Holleman to Texas south.
But the big problem is flashing yellow left turn from south to Holleman
Then those going north on Texas and want to turn left have a tough time see cars coming up the hill on yellow/flashing yellow.
None of those situations should create an accident if drivers would take their time and make sure the street is clear. I have driven about a million and a half miles in my life and been in two wrecks. One was when a Taco truck ran a redlight and I swerve to the right to avoid hitting him broadside and hit a concrete culvert and the other one was a guy in a large pickup blasted me from behind while I was stopped at the light at Univ/Texas Ave intersection,
People, unless you are hurrying to the hospital with a severely injured or sick person, there really is no hurry to risk severe injury or death to save a couple of minutes of time to get to your destination,
