Sounds like Scott is on vacation-glad to hear he's doing well!

Scott has been vacationing A LOT this summer…. He and Jackie are quite the World travelers!

Show isn't the same when he's gone but Chelsea has done a Great job holding it together!

Just record Bill Oliver 5-6 pm and skip through the national feed stuff. Save your brain from the Infomaniacs.

Chelsea certainly can talk.. too often about stuff that belongs on Entertainment Tonight, not local talk radio.
There have been numerous times, when Scott is absent, that I've switched stations, or simply turned off the radio.

I thought they were supporting the data center.

It's hard to listen to. I don't care about other people's trips to the vet.

At least Sean is gone now. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but all he did was repeat everything Chelsea said.

Didn't know they were still around.

I love Chelsea's voice. She's always chipper. Great start to the morning driving to work. Little bit of local, little bit of sports, lots of fun stuff. Been listening since the early Rush days. Won a few things. Called in to comment a couple times. Great local radio show.

I keep saying the local media throws the politico's softballs so they can get cushy Public Information Officer roles after they retire, but I'm a kook.

I agree. Sometimes the conversation gets a little goofy when Scott isn't around. I will also change the station when Scott's gone. Chelsea tries but just not the same. I don't tune in to hear "entertainment tonight".

Some of us just want to listen to a little music while we are on the treadmill....

I would contend that it's pretty goofy even when Scott is on.

I enjoyed them when it was Scott, Tom and Chase. I find the current mix hard on the ears (whenever equally annoying commercials aren't playing) and dominated by one member who might give Sean Hannity a run for the money.

Of course Scott drives the show with his FYI research homework and Oliver is the best ever in all venues when he fills in or answers questions in full off-air. They then include the larger, younger generations (e.g. Paul Newman was the salad dressing guy) with chipper, athletic spirited Chelsea's personality spark that reminds me of a daughter. I think Will brings high pro skills & wit superior and once we are used to his speech patter when waking up slowly will be accepted as another knight of this round table ... if not already. Of course, hats off to seasoned Dusty, always ready to fill in and prevent any lacking of interest.

That said, my hi-IQ social-insider ale buddy (oxymoron?) asked why I listen to those idiots. Perhaps he & I are turning into Otto? (the movie). Certainly the repeat commercials have become grim, most in memory but I need some distractions during a 3 mile walk and the info-tidbits learned are like candy. So I have turned to their podcast sans commercials "mini chats" as The Solution.

I would do the same if such a podcast served KBTX TV with Gale & the boys.

Is this referring to Will Welch(sp?)? I've thought for a while they've been trying to pass an A.I. bot over on us the way he talks.

I haven't heard any of his live spots so I really don't know. Just the small news spots during commercial breaks. He just has a very robotic voice. Idk if anyone has seen the movie Free Guy but he reminds me of the lab created Ryan Reynolds at the end of the movie.
