I've got a 6 month old lab that simply will not let me trim his nails. Anybody have a good rec for this and grooming. I actually have no problem with bathing him, I just can't get the nails done (without blood). Thanks.

Try a nail grinder not a nail clipper

Your vet may be able to help with this. Our late lab had same problem, and Van Stavern did the job for about $12.00.

We use Boom Town Groomer on Graham for our Goldendoodle, have no idea what just a nail trim might cost.

There are several products available that you can use to trim nails with an indexing system that eliminates the cutting to the quick issue. This worked well for the lab most of the time.
