I'm sure the restaurants have been vocal about a lack of customers. Maybe charge for parking on peak days, but overall, this is not Highland Park or River Oaks.

Be careful when parking near campus. Some of the local parking lots have license plate readers. They register when you enter and leave the parking lot. If you don't pay, you get a nice $95 parking fine via US mail. When you get your fine, they have a picture of your car entering and exiting.

A fine payable to who? The church that owns the parking lot?

The fine is sent to a company in Florida. I am not sure how the money is shared once you pay the fine.

If you see the darkened security camera globe in a parking lot, that is one indicator that you are most likely being photographed.

Love the free for one hour part. Parkmobile is really handy. We used it on vacation in Bar Harbor, Maine in October. You don't park anywhere in that town without paying big bucks. They rake it in.

This is really good. We generally avoid that area because of the parking issues.
