I'm not coming in here to create a panic, but my wife works in state government and she forwarded me a memo from the Department of the Army. It states that they have been working with the Travis Co Sherriff's Office as well as the local FBI office and they have discovered a lot of traffic on the dark web and a credible threat regarding a potential mass shooting at an unknown theater in Travis County during the October 4th release of The Joker movie. They're obviously continuing to track this but that's all the information they have right now. I'll share more if I get more, but wanted everyone to know as soon as possible for those in Travis County that might be wanting to see the movie on that date.

I would have to find the link, but the FBI indicated that it was not from Travis County and they made a mistake.

FORT SILL, Okla. (KXAN) The Army is investigating "disturbing and very specific chatter in the dark web" about a possible movie theater shooting, but reported ties to Travis County appear to be a mistake.

The original memo, prepared by a criminal intelligence analyst, said the Fort Sill CID received an intelligence bulletin about a "credible potential mass shooting to occur at an unknown movie theater during the release of the new Joker movie scheduled on October 4, 2019."

The memo said the information came from the Travis County Sheriff's office, but TCSO spokeswoman Kristen Dark said an Army agent told her office "TCSO was accidentally credited for the information but that it was actually received from a different source."

Just confirm your source before posting "hysteria" posts. The Travis County information was out for at least 24 hours before your OP.
