Tomorrow! Pat Green at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater. 2 tickets. Row C seat 411 and 412. $80 all in for both. An unexpected personal issue precludes my use of these.

Wife and I went and had a "college night." Apparently, so did everyone else who went to A&M, Tech, texas and SWT between 1997 and 2003. It was hilariously awesome. Fun show, but man, nobody loves Pat Green as much as Pat Green loves Pat Green.

It's apparent by the way he acts/the things he says between songs at his shows that he thinks really highly of himself. Came off pretty self-important, in my opinion.

But like I said, it was a fun show and it brought back some good memories of seeing him in his heyday at Shadow Canyon. You don't go to concerts for the banter between songs, you go for the music, and overall he still puts on a good show. I can't help but be happy when he sings "Take Me Out to a Dancehall" or "Southbound 35."

I was there. Good times. I told my wife that it looked like all the people in their 40s from Hutto, Buda, and Liberty Hill decided to make a special trip downtown.

Not sure what my favorite part of the night was... Cory Morrow going full gospel on the crowd, or Pat saying "does this shirt make me look fat, or does me being fat make me look fat?"
