I guess we all get it now, if we haven't had it already. I don't think we can contain college boy.

Unfortunately almost none of the restaurants you'd want to go to are opening, hard to make a profit with only 25% occupancy

I personally will not be going anywhere but my guess is that any place that opens will be PACKED. I've seen more and more people going out since Easter like they think it's over.

Yeah, the last few weeks, midday....it looks like a regular day on the roads. Heavier around lunch time. The biggest difference, of course, is at 5:30-6:00. Same traffic as noontime, it's great.

lots of places won't open until the state allows 50% occupancy at least. they won't cover variable costs at 25%.

but, phased reopening is the only path forward. i'm not so many people think everyone can sit on their asses at home like it's a storm passing through.

vaccines are 18-24 months away.

Right along with the cancer vaccine, BAS vaccine, and crappy driver vaccine....

i think they will have a vaccine and it will probably the fastest to market ever. but, let's say they do find one in the next year that is effective and doesn't have severe side effects etc. it's still going to take 6-8 months for mass quantities.

Got reservations at Perry's tomorrow night. Just got married a month ago and the wife and I haven't done anything public other than grocery shop.

Anyone know of any movie theatre openings? I want to go Saturday but don't see any open.

You will see people become more comfortable with the risk of getting the virus.

if you want to venture down to new san marcos/NB, EVO opens up theirs on monday. but there's not much to see unless you want to watch old movies.

Apparently, that's based on the occupancy rating by the fire Marshall for each building, which is higher than you would think it is.

You'd think it was March 1st based on the traffic today.

Perry's last night was phenomenal. Probably about 65% of the tables were filled. The kitchen and bar were really slow but it was just good to be out!
