Been in Wilco for 25 years. Slowly we are moving out the good ol boy network but have more work to do. Starting at the Sheriffs department. Improved the DA. I've got no issue with round rock city or police.

Gotta love where Chode blames this on a 2yr old witch hunt but conveniently leaves out that he denied dozens of FOIA requests from the KVUE reporter who broke the story and has been trying to report this for 2 years.

Dude was an APD officer with a somewhat good, but somewhat checkered past who won 85mil in the lottery and decided to take his money and go run for sheriff, so he could be a little dictator. This was never more on display than when he ignored the orders of his bosses to end the Live PD contract and he gave them the bird and kept right on acting like laws and rules don't apply to him.

I would too. He's not subject to federal law.

It would be interesting to see what was specifically requested, and when. Generally, specific information such as evidence is not subject to an open records request while an investigation is still open.
