Anyone been? Looking for something to do this week with a 15 and 17 year old. Not sure if it would hold their attention or not.

Thanks for feedback or other recommendations.

It's been a few years since I have been. Took my parents (60s) and grandma (80s). They found it interesting and the library had had some decent exhibits but I am not sure if it would hold the attention span of kids that age since they may not have a frame of reference for his presidency.

It held the interest of my 9 and 7 year old kids a few years back. Don't remember how long we stayed but it was an hour to two. I'd recommend it as a good way to broaden their perspective. Let them consume what they will and call it a win. Maybe you stay 3 hours, maybe you stay 30 minutes. Either way you have provided an opportunity.

Have they finally reopened it?

I've been a few times. For teenagers I would recommend something else. It's a good exhibit but for $20/person entrance fee, you can find some more teen-centric activities.

There's a lot on 9/11 and the wars following. Not sure if you have boys but I know I was into that around that age.

I found it entertaining when we went a couple years ago. There's a "response room" where it simulates one of the big events of Bush's presidency and you have to react and make choices as the president.

Some cool exhibits, the 9-11 stuff was interesting but on a much smaller scale than the 9-11 museum in new york.
