We use Dillon Duncan - he's done a paver walkway and landscaping for us in the past. Good guy and seems to do a little bit of everything.

We need someone to help us gut and redesign our front flower beds. Are either of them idea guys(we need advice on which bush/shrub/plant configuration would look best) or are they simply about the execution?

I did all this over the last two weekends. Cut back winter growth and dead areas on all existing shrubs, raked up and bagged all old leaves, mulch, etc, planted new flowers and laid new mulch.

Probably took me 10-12 hours total. I should hire someone but I like looking at it when it's done and saying "I did that". Not an efficient use of my time, but oh well.

I pulled 12 bushes and root systems from the back flower bed last weekend and my right hip/low back is still messed up. It's money well spent for me to let someone else do the front.

Yeah, when I had to have stuff pulled last year due to the big freeze, I paid a guy to do that.

My biggest problem with paying someone for yardwork is my wife will get the bright idea to pay someone for housework and I don't want to start that!
