A little West of your search area but Beasley's Jewelry in Lewisville (old town). They are family owned/run and have been in the same location for 75+ years. Very laid back and unique store.

I followed the commercials from the Ticket and went to the Diamond Doctor in Dallas. It's Diamonds Direct now, but I got a great diamond and setting at a great price. Diamond appraised way over the price I paid by a 3rd party for insurance purposes.

Scott Polk at Lyles Degrazier. Done a few pieces for me and the process was fantastic. Great Ag, great value (wedding ring appraised for more than 50% more than what I paid for it). Found a design we liked at diamonds direct and had them create something similar.

Znasko Jewlers in Valley Ranch. Run from their house but family friends and have done jewelry for basically any cowboy great you can think of. Roger, Troy, emmitt, tony, too tall, etc. Every piece is custom.
