Going to be there in a couple of weeks (kids included), where is best place to go for frozen margs and good food? If there is an area you can walk around with kids it would be a bonus as well. TIA.

Gloria's. Close to Katy Trail and Turtle Creek.
Katy Trail ice house. Amazing if you can sit outside. Lots of room for the kids to enjoy themselves.

I'm going to echo Glorias because they have excellent frozen margs, but I don't know Uptown all that well anymore as I don't frequent it.
Yeah , Gloria's is pretty good and reasonably priced.
My favorite margarita right now at a restaurant is from meso maya. It's their top shelf margarita with a bourbon floater.
15 bucks but you only need one. I did two once and yowza.

Try the Oaxaca if you like mescal. I always get that.
