hey - we bought a house and it's got a pool - old rocks around the outside, and needs new caulking (or whatever it's called).

does anyone have a referral for a contractor

We used Integrity Pools out of Richardson a few years ago for re-plaster and new tiling. I thought they did a great job.

In Plano, I used Tile Rite a few years back. It's a one-man operation if that appeals to you. He didn't show me a lot of intricate tile designs. I'm sure he can get whatever you want, but he leans toward the basic designs. Did a great job and was easy to work with.
