Howdy Ags,
My name is Derek Elk class of 2013. I am a Firefighter in the Metroplex and have a Christmas Light installation business that I run on the side( I have been doing both for 12 years). We service most of the DFW and are happy to provide free quotes. We are fully insured and carry workman's comp for all my guys. About half of the guys who work for me are professional firefighters who do this as a side job this time of year. can you provide a ballpark figure because I have first responder coworkers who still want to charge $800-1100 per year for lights which is insane to me...

Wow. Didn't know you were an Aggie. You did my lights today and joked about trading my truck for your services. Derek does a great job. He's done my lights for 3-4 years now.

A couple years ago I was quoted $1,200 for your typical 2 story suburb home, with me providing the pre-cut lights. I'm sure it's more expensive to pay pros, have insurance, etc... just more expensive than the typical lawn guy.

try calling your local Ewing Irrigation or Site One landscape and see if they could recommend a company.
