BaylorGuy314, thanks for posting the pictures, just called my brother to tell him what he thought, his house on the 5th row is gone. He's stuck in Houston waiting to find out about his house in Galveston.

Poor guy, his 22 year old son has epilepsy and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital last night when he had three seizures. He called from the emergency room and said it was a madhouse.

My brother-n-law's family has a house down there. They have pretty much resigned themselves to the fact that it is no longer there. They might have been one of the lucky few, but I doubt it. Theres' is the 5th house from the beach, can't be more than 150-200 yards away from teh gulf.

And on an even sadder note for me, a few years ago, I sold his Dad my Jeep and they kept it there. Everytime we would go down there as soon as we would pull in the drive way he would just toss me the keys to take it for a spin and re-connect with my old friend

They just confirmed some deaths there. They didn't give an official count, but it sounded like four or five right now.

Wow, that is tough to deal with. They'll certainly be in my prayers tonight.

I was listening to the radio all night through the storm and I believe it was Ch 11's guy in Galveston at the San Louis said one of the Police/Fire guys told them they received a call from a couple on the second floor of their house at Crystal beach and the water was up to their waist, he said they couldn't do any thing for them, hope they made it out alive.

Havent made it back yet... Yall know how the East end is doing. What about City Hall? Prayers and good luck to everyone.
