My kid has had 2 operations on the same knee thanks to High School football and what seems like lackluster skill here in B/CS. Does anyone have a recommendation for a Houston doc who is good?

Another vote for McCulloch. He cleaned mine up about 6 years ago. I'm about to give him another call, as my knee is a mess lately due to another couple of injuries.

I've had knee pain 15+ years and could never get an answer until Dr. Shupe. Went in 5 weeks ago and had a Synovectomy. He takes the time to listen and so far the knee is already much better. Worth a look in my opinion.

I've come across two really great orthopedic knee surgeons in Houston. The first is Dr. Mufaddal Gombera. I've heard amazing things about him, especially when it comes to sports-related knee injuries and overall patient care. The second is Dr. Ugo Ihekweazu, who a friend of mine personally recommended after their surgery. They had a really positive experience, and from what I've heard, he's also well-respected in the field. Both seem like excellent options depending on what kind of treatment you're looking for!

It's been 10 years but Dr Elkousy https://www.elkousysportsmd.com did both of my knees (scope/cleanup on both, plica excision on one) . About due for a tune up and if i was still in Houston I'd use him again
