Ft Bend County Judge, KP George, is under investigation for election interference. He was allegedly involved in a scheme with a member of his staff to create fake Facebook profiles that were then used to post hate messages directed at George, which George then turned around and used to claim he was being racially harassed.

George also used the posts to increase his own personal security at county expense.
Also this week, Commissioners in Ft Bend approved the annual budget which called for a $23,000 (14%) raise for George among other elected officials. George's compensation now totals in excess of $199,000 annually.
