How near the airport we talking? Palace Inn off El Dorado?
Texas Huddle on NASA near 270 and Scotty's on NASA just south of 45 are both nice sports bars.

The Davenport on the porch. It's a pseudo lesbian bar (owners used to have one). The important thing to note is their prices are reasonable for high end pours, and they are very heavy handed.

Why don't you just go inside the event? They sell beer and tickets aren't that bad.
